Issue 109

Jason fired through issue 28 of this and again, as it is better than the previous scan due to less colour correction/brightness etc, I have replaced the older file with this new one if anyone is interested .....

Jason has submitted issue 31 of this title. Although this has been available previously thanks to Thumpnugget I feel Jason's scan is better quality (no overwhitening etc) so have updated the link accordingly.

Interestingly, the Atari fans stated that the Atari was "better" than the Amiga yet for all of that its competitors last magazine (Amiga Format) would run for another four years before it was cancelled. I put that down not to any sort of manufacturer support ... there was none for either machine thanks to the bankruptcy of both ..... but simply because the Amiga's were more expandable, especially the big box Amiga's and the A1200 which allowed 3rd party peripheral suppliers to upgrade machines far more easily than could be done on any Atari. The fact that 3rd party Amiga hardware is still being actively developed today illustrates the difference between the two really. It's a shame Jay Miner had his HAM (Hold and Modify) code changed and his VRAM based enhanced video chipset (Ranger) dropped or the Amiga could have been a true PC killer at the time

Two further issues (22 and 23) are now available thanks once again to Hev.
